Wavesof Defeat

Waves of Defeat is a Minnesota-based modern rock project created by songwriter Eric Jensen. Built around emotionally direct lyrics, heavy instrumentation, and the contrast between melodic and screamed vocals, Waves of Defeat turns real-life struggles, emotions, and experiences into music that hits hard without losing its meaning. Jensen writes the lyrics, develops the concepts, and shapes each song from beginning to end, using AI-assisted production tools to bring a sound to life that otherwise may never have existed.

Since launching in 2025, Waves of Defeat has grown from a deeply personal creative outlet into a steadily expanding presence in rock radio, earning terrestrial and independent airplay in the U.S. and internationally. At its core, Waves of Defeat has a simple purpose: make heavy music that actually means something.
